Lenovo has recently launched a new Chromebook. The company introduced the Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook as an upgrade to its IdeaPad Duet Chromebook at its Tech World 2021 event. The new device is a 2-in-1 Chromebook, which comes with an OLED display and up to 256GB of storage. This Lenovo Chromebook comes with a detachable keyboard and also supports magnetic stylus.
What’s special about Lenovo’s new Chromebook?
The Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook flaunts a 13.3-inch Full HD screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and 400 nits brightness. The screen of this device is made by Samsung. This device is equipped with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor. In this, users will get the option of 4GB and 8GB LPDDR4 RAM along with 64GB, 128GB and 256GB eMMC storage.
Lenovo has provided this Ideapad Duet 5 with a kick-stand and a detachable keyboard, with the help of which you can use it like a normal laptop. By removing this keyboard, it can also be used as a tablet. An 8MP camera sensor has been given on the back of this Chromebook and a 5MP camera sensor has been given on the front.
The IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook packs four 1W speakers and supports the USI stylus. It comes with Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity, and you’ll also get two USB Type-C (USB 3.0 Gen 1) ports. It also has a pogo-pin connector for connecting keyboards. Lenovo says that the 42Whr battery of this device can give 15 hours of battery backup. The weight of this device is 700 grams.
Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook Price –
Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook price starts at US$429.99, which works out to around Rs 31,700. It will be available in Abyss Blue and Storm Gray color options. Lenovo’s new Chromebook will go on sale in October. The company has not yet given any information about the India launch of this Chromebook. It is expected that this device will come to India next month or by the end of the year.
