Google introduces two new Chromecasts: Cost $35 (each)

Google has launched two new Chromecast devices, one of which is exclusively geared towards audio. Both Chromecasts will cost $35 and Google has radically redesigned the Chromecast for the TV.

Google says the new bulb shaped design helps with better WiFi reception and that the new Chromecast supports latest Wi-Fi standards and adapts more easily to changing Wi-Fi conditions in your home.

Google is offering Chromecast in two new colours as well: A red and a yellow, along with the standard black.

Chromecast Audio is a device that plugs into existing speakers, which lets users play their music, radio and podcasts over Wi-Fi, just like Chromecast for TV. Chromecast Audio apps, including Spotify, Pandora and Google Play Music, says Google. Just like Chromecast, it works with iOS devices and laptops as well.

Google Photos is also getting Chromecast support as well which means you can check out your photos from your device on your Television now via Chromecast, of course.

Google says it has solde 20 million Chromecasts since the launch of the product two years back.
