Big Data leak by Amazon Ring, over 3500 users impacted

Its 3672 ring camera owners were compromised and there login credentials got leaked this week. This was first reported by buzzfeednews and since the many portal has confirmed the same.
As per the report the login email I’d and passwords for leaked, hence someone easily access the ring customer’s home address, telephone number and payment information including credit and debit card last four digits and CVV numbers.
Even not only the information, those who have the login credentials they can easily access live Camera footage and the history of videos.
However, as per the ring officials they have denied any kind of leak and data compromised.

The Amazon Ring Official said

Ring has not had a data breach. Our security team has investigated these incidents and we have no evidence of an unauthorized intrusion or compromise of Ring’s systems or network, It is not uncommon for bad actors to harvest data from other company’s data breaches and create lists like this so that other bad actors can attempt to gain access to other services.

Although Ring denied this issue, but user are resetting their password as a precaution, and company also contacted all the users to enable two- factor authentication. What do you feel about all these data leak news and incidents which is increasing day by day.
