Google has started a new payment app for Indian users called Tez. Google features a audio QR technology which allow users to transfer money using sounds to pair two devices. This more is called as Cash Mode where users can transfer their money just like cash from one hand to another and this feature does’t required any bank details or mobile number to exchange money. Cash mode with work with any mobile with Mic and Speakers.
Tez is working on Unified Payments Interface (UPI) that means you can use this app to transfer money with options like through UPI code, NEFT etc.
Tez is not like wallet like Paytm or any other wallet, because its not save any money in wallet. Its directly used liked bank account and transfer and deposit directly from the account. For money transfers, there is a limit of ₹1,00,000 in one day across all UPI apps, and 20 transfers in one day.
